Kingston WritersFest 2009 hosted capacity crowds that thrilled to presentations by 44 authors in such glittering events as The Year of the Flood with Margaret Atwood, Lives of Boys and Men with Joseph Boyden, Michael Crummey, Mark Sinnett and Steven Heighton, It's a Mystery! with Louise Penny and Howard Engel, and Extraordinary Canadians with Jane Urquhart, Mark Kingwell, Daniel Poliquin and Charlotte Gray.
After packing 27 events into four days, we wrapped up the festival with a Saturday Night SpeakEasy, hosted in high style by Bill Richardson.
