Highlights of Kingston WritersFest 2009
Thank you, authors, audience, and sponsors, for making Kingston WritersFest 2009 such a resounding success.
We continued through Saturday, September 26, at the Holiday Inn Waterfront with some of the best writers working in Canada today—recent award–winners, this year’s Giller nominees, and the must–reads of tomorrow.
All together, some 3500 book–lovers from Kingston and as far away as Australia and Trinidad attended the Kingston WritersFest. More than half of our events were sold out, and some festival–goers took in as many as 14 events!
