Support the Festival

Kingston WritersFest celebrates books and reading in our community, reaching out to readers of every age and taste. We offer Festival Field Trips for high school students, so they can discuss with Canadian writers the ideas that are shaping their future. We take writers into local elementary schools and mount events on the campuses of Queen’s University and St. Lawrence College.

We believe in the power of the written word, the unique pleasures of reading, and the value of literacy in creating a strong, engaged citizenry. If you share our vision and would like to help make it a reality, we would love to welcome you to our family of supporters.

As an individual, you can support us in two ways, by making a contribution through our BookLover Donor program or becoming involved as an Author Patron.

With the help of our generous corporate supporters, Kingston WritersFest has fast become the hottest literary event of the year. Join their ranks and you’ll be making a meaningful contribution to the cultural life of our community.
