In We Measure the Earth with Our Bodies, a haunting debut work of historical fiction, Tsering Yangzom Lama takes readers on a heart-wrenching, decades-spanning journey of four Tibetan women from a harrowing flight across the Himalayas to escape China’s occupation, to modern day Parkdale. Tsering will talk with scholar Asha Varadharajan about culture, colonization, displacement, and familial connection.
