Dr. Anita Jack-Davies is the President and CEO of Mosaic Cross-Cultural Solutions, which provides equity, diversity, and inclusion consultations and planning for businesses and institutions. She is also an academic in the Department of Geography and Urban Planning at Queen’s University whose work focusses on EDI.
Anita is a certified mediator and works directly with employees to develop EDI initiatives unique to their workspace. Her work on curriculum development, training, and leadership development is recognized globally. She recently launched Badges2Bridges – an online program that trains police officers on race, racism, and anti-Black racism.
Anita is the author of Lawrencia’s Last Parang: On Race & Belonging as Black in Canada, a memoir in which she explores what it means to be a Black Canadian, to raise a mixed-race child and be in an interracial relationship, and to be a Black teacher in a predominantly white town.
Anita lives in Kingston with her family.
