Clear and vibrant communication is Christina Decarie’s raison d’être. She shares her love of words in a multitude of roles, including teaching, writing, editing, publishing—and last, but not least, as President of the Limestone City Toastmaster’s Club.
A highly–rated and popular business communications instructor at St. Lawrence College, Christina emphasizes networking and interpersonal communications skills in her courses. In addition, she oversees an annual college publication that promotes intergenerational knowledge by requiring students to interview business professionals.
Christina’s short fiction has appeared in Pottersfield Portfolio, The Puritan, All Rights Reserved, and other journals and anthologies, and her chapbook, Nemesis Girls, appeared with Black Bile Press. A valued contributor to Quill and Quire and Shameless Magazine, she also writes for Profile Kingston. With her husband, DJ Berger, she established UpStart Press, where she’s currently editing an anthology of thirty years of writing by the members of a writing group founded by Bronwen Wallace.
