Kathy is an accomplished author and forensic anthropologist. Her debut novel, Déjà Dead, the first in what would become a 19 book Bones series featuring Temperance Brennan, won the Ellis Award for Best First Novel. In additiona, Kathy co-authors the Virals YA series, following the adventures of Tory, Temperance Brennan’s great niece, with her son, Brendan. She is also a producer of the TV series, Bones, which is based on her work.
