Terry O’Reilly has won hundreds of international advertising awards, and was the co-founder of Pirate Radio and Television in Toronto and New York. Since 2005, he has appeared on CBC Radio as host of O’Reilly on Advertising, The Age of Persuasion and most recently Under the Influence, which is also syndicated in the United States.
Despite decades of marketing experience, he insists on remaining receptive to new ideas. “I’ve been in the advertising business for over 35 years, worked on over 10,000 commercials, and I’m still learning. The book, This I Know: Marketing Lessons from Under the Influence, is a follow up to his bestselling Age of Persuasion. Terry’s aim is to help businesses of any size understand the fundamentals of good marketing strategy and relationship building. Terry lives in Creemore, Ontario. He has a wonderful wife and three lovely daughters who like some of his work.
