All KWF2026 tickets are sold through Showpass. All events are unassigned seating.

Tickets can be purchased online through Showpass or by clicking the the ‘Buy Tickets’ link at the bottom of each event page.

Showpass fees and HST apply to each ticket. Purchased tickets and passes will be emailed directly to you. They can be printed at home or digitally shown on your mobile device at the box office during the festival. Subject to availability, tickets may also be purchased during the festival at the door.

Festival Passes and Media Passes can be picked up at the Onsite Box Office by showing ID.

The Kingston Marriott (285 King St E) is our Kingston WritersFest home.

Authors Onstage and Salon Series events are on the 2nd Floor (accessible by stairs and elevator), where you will also find Novel Idea’s onsite bookstore and the KWF onsite Box Office.

All events are fully accessible.

Exchange and Refund Policy

We offer no exchanges or refunds except if an event is cancelled, or in the case of The Writers Studio, if a master class fails to meet minimum registration. Check your order carefully before you click Pay to finalize your purchase.
